  • Job Description:

  •        Job Description: 

    Overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position requires a strong understanding of both vertical and civil construction processes and the ability to manage diverse teams of subcontractors and workers effectively.

            Responsibilities:

  •         Job Description:   

    As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Irish Brothers, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to facilitate construction activities across both vertical and civil projects. Your expertise in safely and efficiently operating equipment will contribute to the successful completion of projects within designated timelines and quality standards.

            Responsibilities:

    • Operate heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, graders, and etc. to perform tasks related to site preparation, excavation, grading, and material handling.

    • Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe manner adhering to company safety policies and procedures. Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to maintain operational efficiency and safety.

    • Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and fellow crew members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient project execution. Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.

    • Monitor and maintain proper grades and slopes during earthmoving operations to ensure accurate placement of materials and compliance with project requirements.

    • Keep accurate records of daily equipment usage, maintenance activities, and production reports. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime.

            Requirements:

    • Experience: 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment, preferably with experience in both vertical and civil construction projects.

    •  Proficiency in operating various types of heavy machinery with a focus on safety and precision. Ability to interpret construction drawings and follow instructions accurately.

    • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments. Must be capable of lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment as needed.

    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve project objectives. Willingness to assist in other construction tasks as needed.

  • Job Description:
    As a Laborer specializing in Pipe Laying or Topman, you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of underground utilities and pipelines. You will work as part of a construction crew to ensure that pipes are laid accurately and efficiently, adhering to project plans and safety standards

             Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the installation of sewer, water, and drainage pipes according to project specifications. Use various hand tools and equipment to excavate trenches, lay pipe sections, and backfill trenches after installation.

    • Ensure proper grade and alignment of pipes using surveying equipment or laser levels. Adjust pipe fittings and connections as necessary to achieve accurate slope and alignment.

    • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites. Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

    • Assist in the loading, unloading, and transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to and from the construction site. Operate machinery such as skid steers or mini excavators as needed.

    • Work closely with other crew members, including equipment operators, foremen, and project managers, to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow. Communicate effectively to ensure tasks are completed according to schedule and quality standards.

    • Quality Assurance: Inspect installed pipes and fittings for defects or damage. Report any issues to supervisors promptly and participate in quality control checks to ensure compliance with project requirements.

      Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in pipe laying or related construction activities, preferably in both vertical and civil construction projects.

    • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment commonly used in pipe laying, such as shovels, rakes, levels, and pipe cutting tools. Basic understanding of plumbing principles and construction methods.

    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, digging trenches, and working in various weather conditions.

    • Knowledge of and commitment to safety practices and regulations. Experience with trenching and excavation safety protocols is a plus.

    •  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to take direction from supervisors and contribute to the overall success of construction projects.

  •         Job Description:

    • As a General Laborer at Irish Brothers, you will perform a variety of tasks to support construction operations across both vertical and civil projects. You will work under the direction of supervisors and alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure that construction sites are safe, clean, and productive.

      Responsibilities:

    • Assist in preparing construction sites before the commencement of work, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.

    • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and delivery vehicles. Transport materials to designated work areas using wheelbarrows, hand trucks, or forklifts under supervision.

    • Provide assistance to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, plumbers, and equipment operators, by handing them tools, materials, and supplies as needed.

    • Perform general cleanup of construction areas, including sweeping, removing trash and debris, and disposing of waste materials according to company policies and environmental regulations.

    • Follow all safety protocols and regulations on construction sites. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.

    • Assist in a variety of construction tasks as assigned, including but not limited to concrete mixing and pouring, installation of temporary fencing, and erosion control measures.

    • Work collaboratively with other laborers, subcontractors, and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project timelines.

      Requirements:

    • Entry-level position: no prior experience necessary, but previous construction experience is advantageous.

    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and working in various weather conditions.

    •  Commitment to adhering to safety standards and regulations. Willingness to learn and follow proper safety procedures on construction sites.

    • Punctuality and reliability are essential. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

  •         Job Description:

    • As a Truck Driver at Irish Brothers, you will be responsible for safely transporting construction materials, equipment, and debris to and from construction sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery and efficient operations across both vertical and civil construction projects.

      Responsibilities:

    • Operate company-owned trucks to transport construction materials, tools, equipment, and debris to and from construction sites, suppliers, and disposal facilities.

    •  Safely load and unload materials using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manually. Secure loads to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.

    • Route Planning: Plan and follow designated routes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules. Utilize GPS or maps to navigate unfamiliar locations effectively.

    • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on trucks, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and brakes. Report any mechanical issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.

    • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Maintain a clean driving record and operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner at all times.

    • Documentation: Complete accurate logs, trip reports, and delivery documentation. Ensure all paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery receipts, are properly signed and submitted.

    • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and construction site personnel. Provide updates on delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during transportation.

      Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in the construction or transportation industry. Experience with hauling construction materials or equipment is advantageous.

    • Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., Class A or B, depending on vehicle type). Clean driving record with no major violations.

    • Ability to operate trucks and navigate various types of terrain safely. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is beneficial.

    • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and securing heavy loads, as well as sitting for extended periods.

    • Dependability and punctuality are essential. Ability to follow schedules and meet delivery deadlines consistently.

    • Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts as required by project schedules and operational needs.
